WHAT HAPPENED?
Bayern beat Heidenheim 4-0 on Saturday to extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to nine points. With four games of the season left, and a much superior goal difference compared to Leverkusen in second, Bayern can effectively be crowned champions on Sunday if St Pauli beat Xabi Alonso's side.

However, he is now on the verge of finally ending a curse that has plagued him since his professional debut, and throughout his careers with both Tottenham Hotspur and England.
